Case Study Klockbox

Case Studies Klockbox

Project Details

“If you would not be forgotten as soon as you are dead, either write something worth reading or do something worth writing.” — Benjamin Franklin.

  • You have worked hard to build great relationships, in family and business, but have you considered what will happen when you suddenly die?
  • Klockbox looks after the stuff that you probably have forgotten about.
  • Klockbox affords certainty that avoids costly disputes. It's your Will, your wishes, it’s passing on information that’s important to others and creating intimate messages to the ones you truly love.
  • Klockbox allows you the convenience to store your information at a time suitable to yourself, to secure your transfers by issuing key holdings that will allow for safe delivery at exactly the right moment.
  • Klockbox is your very own legal diary.
  • Planning for the inevitable. It’s that eternal connection to your loved ones, for a life after you’ve gone.

Problem

  • When a person dies, lots of other important things along with the person are also lost forever.
  • Nobody is aware of the important details of a person such as bank account passwords, social media account passwords, property documents, important keys of bank lockers, Will documents and other important memories of the dead people.
  • There is no such application available, which can manage all important details of the person after leaving the world.

Solution

  • Klockbox looks after all the important user information after the user's death.
  • Klockbox is a personal legal diary after death to be looked upon.
  • Klockbox is one secure application to store all secret important information of the user.

KlockBox Features

  • Memory wall: Klokbox is a memory box of Kloks (posts), each klokmate has a memory wall (where all their kloks are posted). If a user receives kloks from another user these are called Klokages.
  • Memories: These are things that are important to users in their life. Things users want to share with their Klokmates when they die. These include messages, user will, user passwords, funeral decision, organ donation decision.
  • Prompts: These are events, occasions that users want to share with Klokmates while they are alive.
  • Klokages: These are Kloks, memories which users have received from someone who has already died.
  • Last Will: This is a legal document which users create. Where users will give things to their Klokmates after death. Here users will also choose a Klokmate to receive user Will after the user dies (recipient). User Will is then posted to the Klokmates Wall. Users also choose a Klokmate to release thier Will after their death, this is my Klokey or Keyholder.
  • Passwords: Here users save their important passwords, users also decide who can receive each password if the user dies, these passwords then appear on the chosen klokmates wall as kloks. Users also decide who will release the passwords after their death.
  • Keyholders: This person is also known as a Klokey. This is my Klokmate which users have chosen to release the information after user death.
  • Keyholdings: These are responsibilities users have taken from others, given to them by other users (i.e I am their klokmate/keyholder), once they choose other users (similar to my own keyholders) users become their keyholder and users will have power to release their data.
  • The Big Plan: This is divided into 2 sections Funeral and Organs
  • Funeral: Here the user will make all the arrangements for the user's funeral, to save others from the trouble of organising it after the user dies. Users will choose the Klokmate to receive the plan (it will then be klok’d to their wall) and the user will also choose the Klokmate to release the funeral plan.
  • Organ Donation: Here users will make all the arrangements for the donation of their organs. Users will choose the Klokmate to receive the plan (it will then be klok’d to their wall) and users will also choose the Klokmate to release the funeral plan.

Results

  • Klockbox helps to avoid disputes with the loved one of the person after death.
  • Klockbox has helped and saved time for a lot of people in finding important details of the dead person.
  • Klockbox have successfully helped to pass down sceret information smoothly to others after death.
